Thank you for thinking about giving to my ministry with Love Your Neighbour and visiting this page!
I’m joining my parents-in-law - Howard and Lynette Webb - who have 30 years of experience working with churches. I bring theology knowledge, pastoral experience, a critical mind from my medical engineering background, and a lot of passion for helping churches be the community that Jesus calls us to be! I'm married to Wesley and we have two girls, Bethanie and Amanda.
The heartbeat of Love Your Neighbour is that mission can be part of church. Instead of mission being something that we as individuals and teams only do outside of church, why not bring mission into church by creating an hospitable gospel space with plenty of time for conversation?
We define mission as ‘the process by which my friends become part of my church family’. This understanding of mission means I need to invite the people I know – and when they arrive, they need to find an attractive Kingdom community that has been expecting to meet them! Mission then becomes the responsibility of the church family, and the church needs to become family by having enough time for conversation. We practice this at our church in Pt Chev, church@onetwosix, which was a church plant of Love Your Neighbour, ten years ago.
See our site www.loveyourneighbour.nz for more information about our ministry, including our 6-week Redemptive Family church series.
As I begin this faith journey of working with Love Your Neighbour, I'd love for you to prayerfully consider supporting me. Thank you!
