A book that will shape our ministry for years to come
Can you help us launch ‘Redemptive Family’?
Two years ago we launched our Redemptive Family Church Series, a six-week programme to help churches discover how to be an authentic family, rooted in a place, on a mission together.
Where Love Your Neighbour has been able to facilitate a church-wide workshop centred in the principles of Appreciative Inquiry at the end, we have seen churches just come alive!
Finally, the book!
Based in Scripture and our 25 years of ministry experience, our new book Redemptive Family takes a hard look at how we ‘do church’ in the West and makes the case for a radical yet simple relationship-based model of church and mission.
Howard Webb has done it! His thoughtful, transparent, and courageous book addresses the question too many of us have been afraid to ask; why does my church experience leave me longing for more? Howard provides us with a biblical prescription and ways to rediscover God's intention for His Church. I dare you to read it for your sake and your church's sake!
- Doug Pollock, author of ‘God Space’
I love Howard’s vision for the church. If you are passionate about the church, looking to disciple people and see your church become more of a family that reaches out together, then start reading because you are not going to be able to put this book down!
- Jono Hesp, National Director Alpha NZ 2011-2017
Illustrated with stories from our Love Your Neighbour church plant in Pt. Chevalier, Auckland, the book expands on core values of the Redemptive Family Church Series and lays the groundwork for innovation in existing churches - and for planting new churches too!
With the book as roadmap we intend establishing a volunteer church-planting movement in New Zealand where a network of like-minded people can share resources, ideas and encouragement.

We need your help!
As a faith-based charitable trust, we urgently need to raise $10,000 by 14 September to cover the costs of:
- Editing, proofing and publishing ($2,500)
- Promotion, including production of a professional video clip ($4,000)
- First print run ($3,500). Sales of our initial print run will help us to sustainably cover the cost of subsequent runs.
To show our appreciation, we will send every donor a free copy of Redemptive Family for you to review and enjoy!
